What’s Coming to Town: Secilia Luna
Attention to all J-Rockers THIS is the next big thing, forget Maximum the Hormone. Secilia Luna is an entrée five piece Visual-kei band that combines classical playing styles with metal riffs to form a repertoire unique to Japanese rock music. The end product is a brilliant expression of tunes that are both heavenly and electrifying – literally a Godsend, which pays tribute to the notion of what humans are in popular culture. Through music, the universal language that binds mankind regardless of race and religion, Secilia Luna hopes to share this notion. In addition, the band also intends to revive the spiritually jaded through their music, although little information has been provided on how they intend to do so at this point in time.
Secilia Luna will be playing at SCAPE on 27 November 2011 at the HAP 2011 Mini Concert. The event is organised by TOKYO69, a privately run events management firm aimed at promoting Japanese culture in Singapore. Here’s their message for fans in Singapore together with their track “Providence” !
